There wasn’t much to note about Delilah’s past. Had quite a mediocre upbringing - if she was being honest. Kind parents, okay grades, and graduated going into college with an entry business degree. But that didn’t quite pay the bills, did it? No. And with rent going up, she was barely scraping by. Stomach constantly rumbling, the two sometimes three jobs unable to get by. Desperately searching for an out when a job ad on a newspaper add caught her eye. Applying she had gotten the job on the spot! Now she was a glorified secretary. The pay was far more than she’d ever seen, in fact, she was able to upgrade her apartment and get a new furniture score! 

BUT! Was everything as it seemed? What was she shipping out? Why did she feel like some days headaches were so intense and she forgot small details? What was her boss man hiding behind his double doors? Where she’d hear the snarls and growls of something certainly not human. This wasn’t a horror movie, she wasn’t going to be the white woman to go knocking where things went bump in the night. Instead, she put her head down and kept working.
